I remove the stem then I attempt painting the face and clothes, next I decide where to put bird hole. Here I added clay ears, which need some "surgery" and paint to fix them.
Here I fixed ears, painted and var-ished the whole piece, three times. I put the wire hanger through the head now, before adding hair!
